I believe the most effective way to initiate and maintain a process of growth and healing is not only by getting to know yourself, but also learning how to be more self-compassionate.
I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in both Massachusetts and Washington. I graduated from Lesley University with a Masters in Dance Movement Therapy and Mental Health Counseling in 2011. I have completed Level One and Level Two in Internal Family Systems training and attend ongoing trainings. I have been a Program Assistant in IFS trainings Levels One and Two in several locations on the west coast and am always pursuing more of that role.
My specialization is working with adults with eating disorders, I have eight years of experience with this population (anorexia, bulimia, EDNOS and binge eating). I also specialize in working with adoptees, as an adoptee myself, I have a passion for helping others cope with adoption trauma. I am interested in treating professionals in the mental health field, couples and adults struggling with an assortment of mental health issues (depression, anxiety, grief, identity issues, life transitions and self worth).
